IAG Gold Standards
Most young people will need help to make decisions about their futures as they move through education or training.
The Gold Standard for Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) provides a detailed set of processes against which schools, colleges and training providers may assess the quality of their IAG provision.
In doing so, they ensure that all sources of information are up to date and accessible and that all practitioners work closely together to provide a high quality service to meet the guidance needs of all their young people.
Schools, colleges and training providers may elect to have their provision externally assessed and accredited by Connexions Humber, so achieving a recognised award for the information, advice and guidance they provide for all their young people.
