Getting in touch

What we need to know about your vacancy:

  • The name, address and telephone/fax number of your company
  • The type of business you are engaged in
  • The approximate number of employees you have
  • A contact name and email address where necessary
  • The job title of the vacancy and whether it’s full-time or part-time
  • A description of the main duties involved
  • Any education/training you want the young person to undertake
  • A description of the kind of person you are looking for in terms of qualifications, experience, personal qualities and skills
  • Normal working hours
  • The pay at various ages and levels of experience
  • Prospects for promotion and development
  • Any additional information e.g. holiday entitlement, canteen facilities

Remember that national minimum wage rates apply and that legislation does not allow discrimination against job seekers on the grounds of race, religion, sex or disability.
